Harmony of the Seas

The Oasis sister that added the thrills — Ultimate Abyss and Perfect Storm.

Harmony of the Seas launched in May 2016 as the third Oasis-class ship — the first to add the ten-storey Ultimate Abyss slide, the Perfect Storm trio of waterslides and Splashaway Bay. Same seven neighbourhoods, Central Park and AquaTheater as her sisters, with a serious upgrade for families and thrill-seekers.

Onboard

Standout features, at a glance.

A high-level look. We'll go deeper on any of these — including the shows worth pre-booking — when we speak.

The Ultimate Abyss

The tallest slide at sea — a ten-storey drop from deck 16 down to the Boardwalk. The signature Harmony thrill and still one of the most talked-about features in the fleet.

The Perfect Storm & Splashaway Bay

Three racing waterslides (Cyclone, Typhoon and Supercell) plus Splashaway Bay — a full aqua-play area for younger children with drench buckets and mini slides.

Central Park

An open-air park mid-ship with real trees, boutique shopping, 150 Central Park, Chops Grille and Trellis Bar for live music in the evenings.

AquaTheater & Royal Theater

Outdoor AquaTheater at the stern for high-diving shows, plus the Royal Theater for Broadway-scale productions — Grease sails on Harmony.

Dining variety

150 Central Park, Chops Grille, Jamie's Italian, Izumi, Sabor, Wonderland, Johnny Rockets and Starbucks — plus complimentary Windjammer, Solarium Bistro, Park Café and Sorrento's.

The Boardwalk

Coney Island-inspired neighbourhood at the stern — hand-carved carousel, arcade, Boardwalk Dog House and direct AquaTheater views.

Cabins & where to book

Not all balconies are equal.

Harmony has over 25 stateroom categories across 16 guest decks. As with all Oasis-class, the Central Park and Boardwalk balconies are where the class shines — but not every cabin is equal, and Boardwalk views vary a lot by deck.

We'll steer you clear of the obstructed views, the cabins under the pool deck and the noisy connecting doors — and towards the ones that quietly go for the same money.

Best value balcony

Central Park view balcony, deck 10 or 11 mid-ship

Quiet, leafy, mid-ship for minimal motion — usually priced below an ocean-view balcony on the same deck.

Best for families

Boardwalk balcony, aft-facing on deck 12+

AquaTheater views from your own balcony. Avoid low Boardwalk decks if you're a light sleeper — the carousel and diner are close.

Quiet ocean view

Deck 9 or 10 aft-facing ocean-view balcony

Sunrise over the wake, well away from the pool deck. Our pick for couples on a Harmony sailing.

Suite splurge

Crown Loft Suite, deck 17

Two-storey loft with floor-to-ceiling windows — unique to Oasis-class. Coastal Kitchen access and the suite sun deck included.
