Celebrity Beyond

The Edge idea, given room to breathe.

Beyond is where the series grew up. She is a deck taller than Edge and Apex, and Celebrity used that space where it matters — a far larger Retreat sundeck, a reimagined Sunset Bar drawn by Nate Berkus, and Le Voyage, the restaurant Daniel Boulud designed for this ship. The Magic Carpet, Eden and the four included main restaurants are all still here; there is simply more room around them. For many couples she is the sweet spot of the series: nearly everything the newest ships offer, usually at a calmer fare.

Onboard

Standout features, at a glance.

A high-level look. We'll go deeper on any of these — including the shows worth pre-booking — when we speak.

The Retreat, expanded

A two-storey sundeck with far more shade, seating and pool space than on Edge or Apex, plus the Retreat Lounge and Luminae. If you're considering a suite, this is the ship where it shows.

The Sunset Bar

Reimagined by Nate Berkus as a tiered, Moorish-inspired terrace over the stern. Genuinely one of the best sailaway spots at sea — and it fills early, so we'll tell you when to head up.

Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud

Boulud's first restaurant designed for a ship, and exclusive to Beyond at launch. Worth booking the moment your dining window opens.

The Magic Carpet

The cantilevered platform that travels up the side of the hull — tender platform low down, bar higher up, dinner venue at the top.

Eden

Three decks of glass at the stern that change character through the day: coffee in the morning, quiet in the afternoon, performance late on.

Infinite Veranda staterooms

The balcony folds into the room at the touch of a button. It divides opinion, and we'll say plainly whether it suits the way you use a balcony.

Cabins & where to book

Not all balconies are equal.

On Beyond the real question is whether the bigger Retreat is worth the step up — on this ship, more often than on Edge or Apex, it is. Beyond that it's Infinite Veranda versus a conventional open balcony, and whether AquaClass and Blu suit your week. Deck choice matters here too, because she carries more guests than the first two sisters.

We'll steer you clear of the obstructed views, the cabins under the pool deck and the noisy connecting doors — and towards the ones that quietly go for the same money.

Best value

Mid-ship Infinite Veranda

Central to the Grand Plaza and the dining decks, and the steadiest ride. If you want true open air, we'll point you to the categories that give you one.

Spa pick

AquaClass

SEA Thermal Suite access plus Blu, the AquaClass-only restaurant. On sea-day-heavy Caribbean weeks it frequently pays for itself.

Upgrade

The Retreat — Sky Suite or above

The expanded sundeck, Retreat Lounge, Luminae and butler service. This is the ship where the Retreat premium buys the most extra space.

Think twice

Cabins directly beneath the Resort Deck

Early-morning lounger movement carries. There are quieter categories a deck or two down for the same fare, and we'll flag them.

Shoulder season

Transatlantic repositioning

Spring and autumn crossings — long, unhurried sea days and often the best value of the year on this ship.
