Summer — Mediterranean
Barcelona, Civitavecchia (Rome) or Athens
7 to 12-night voyages across the Western and Eastern Med, with overnights in port and S.A.L.T. experiences ashore.

Silversea · Nova Class · Launched 2024
Silver Nova's sister — with the details quietly refined.
Silver Ray joined the fleet in June 2024 as the second Nova-class ship: the same asymmetric layout that keeps the sea in view from almost every public room, with a handful of considered refinements learned from her sister. All-suite, all-inclusive, butler service throughout.

Onboard
A high-level look. We'll go deeper on any of these — including the shows worth pre-booking — when we speak.
Public rooms shifted to one side of the ship so lounges, bars and restaurants face the sea rather than each other. It reads as a technical detail; on board it changes the whole week.
An open pool deck with the al fresco Marquee grill, plus the Otium wellness concept — spa, sauna, treatments and a genuinely calm thermal area.
La Terrazza, Atlantide, Kaiseki, Silver Note, La Dame, S.A.L.T. Kitchen, The Grill and the Arts Café — all included, all bookable, no buffet-by-default.
Sea and Land Taste: regional food and culture built around the itinerary you're sailing — market visits ashore, a dedicated kitchen, bar and lab on board.
Hybrid power with fuel cells and battery storage, allowing near-silent operation in port — noticeable when you're on your veranda in a Mediterranean harbour.
No tender queues, no fight for a lounger, no fixed dinner sitting. Closer in scale to a private club than a resort at sea.
Cabins & where to book
Every suite on Silver Ray has a veranda or generous window, a walk-in wardrobe and a butler. The differences are position, aspect and horizontal versus vertical suite layouts — and that's where the advice earns its keep.
We'll steer you clear of the obstructed views, the cabins under the pool deck and the noisy connecting doors — and towards the ones that quietly go for the same money.
Best value
Classic or Superior Veranda, deck 7 or 8 mid-ship
The sweet spot. Mid-ship for the steadiest ride, high enough for a clean view, and the same butler and inclusions as every suite above it.
Best aspect
Panorama Suite, the scenic side
Ray's asymmetry means one side carries the public terraces. We'll tell you which side favours your itinerary's scenic days.
Quiet choice
Deck 9 aft-facing veranda
Sunrise over the wake, well away from the pool deck and the tender platform. Our pick for couples.
The splurge
Otium or Owner's Suite
Separate living room, dining for six, a wraparound veranda and priority everything. Worth it on a longer voyage where the suite becomes the trip.

Summer — Mediterranean
7 to 12-night voyages across the Western and Eastern Med, with overnights in port and S.A.L.T. experiences ashore.
Winter — Caribbean & Americas
Smaller ports the big ships can't reach, plus longer 10 to 14-night itineraries through the Lesser Antilles.
Repositioning
Crossings between Europe and the Americas. Long sea-day stretches are where a ship this quiet genuinely shines.
