Celebrity Flora

Purpose-built for the Galápagos — and the most comfortable way to sail them.

Flora is the only ship Celebrity has ever designed from the keel up for a single destination. She carries 100 guests in 50 outward-facing suites, uses dynamic positioning so she never drops an anchor on the seabed, and sails the Galápagos year-round with Ecuadorian naturalist guides on board. Days are genuinely expedition — Zodiac landings, snorkelling, lava fields — and evenings are unmistakably Celebrity, with a suite attendant, in-suite dining and a glass of something good on the Stargazing Deck. Fares include excursions, drinks and gratuities, so the week is refreshingly simple to budget.

Onboard

Standout features, at a glance.

A high-level look. We'll go deeper on any of these — including the shows worth pre-booking — when we speak.

Naturalist-led every day

Galápagos-licensed Ecuadorian guides sail with the ship, lead every landing and brief each evening in the Discovery Lounge. The guiding is the product here, not an add-on.

The Marina

Deck 3 is the ship's working heart — Zodiacs, kayaks, snorkel kit and wetsuits go straight off the platform. You're in the water within minutes of finishing breakfast.

Dynamic positioning

Flora holds station by thruster rather than anchor, so nothing is dropped onto the seabed. Combined with strict biosecurity, she's about as light-footed as a ship this comfortable gets.

Two venues, no queues

The Seaside Restaurant for indoor dining with island views, Ocean Grill for sustainably sourced seafood under the stars. With 100 guests there is never a reservation scramble.

Everyone is a suite guest

Personal suite attendant, in-suite dining at any meal and unlimited Wi-Fi as standard — from a Sky Suite right up to the 967 sq ft Penthouse Suites.

Inner and outer loops

Different weeks visit different islands. We'll match the loop to what you actually want to see — albatross, penguins, giant tortoises or the very best snorkelling.

Cabins & where to book

Not all balconies are equal.

Every suite on Flora faces outward and has a veranda, so there is no bad choice — the decision is about space, position and whether the top tiers are worth it for a week you'll spend largely ashore and on deck.

We'll steer you clear of the obstructed views, the cabins under the pool deck and the noisy connecting doors — and towards the ones that quietly go for the same money.

Best value

Sky Suite with Infinite Veranda (SK)

16 of them at 237 sq ft with an 88 sq ft veranda. Central, quiet and the sweet spot on the ship — most guests need nothing more.

Classic pick

Sky Suite with Veranda (S1)

22 suites at 246 sq ft with a true open-air balcony. Choose this over the Infinite Veranda if you want the doors properly open at anchor.

Upgrade

Penthouse or Royal Suite

Two of each. The Penthouses run to 967–982 sq ft with verandas up to 321 sq ft — the celebration choice, and they go a year or more ahead.

Worth knowing

Deck position on a swelly week

Lower and mid-ship is steadier if you're at all prone to motion. We'll tell you honestly which suites we'd avoid for that reason.

Where she sails

Popular itineraries for Celebrity Flora.

Year-round

Inner loop from Baltra

Seven nights taking in the central and southern islands — Santa Cruz, Española, Floreana. Strong for giant tortoises, waved albatross in season and easy first-time pacing.

Year-round

Outer loop from Baltra

The northern and western islands — Genovesa, Isabela, Fernandina. Wilder, more volcanic, and the better half for penguins, flightless cormorants and serious snorkelling.

Add-on

Quito, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu

Most UK guests pair Flora with a land programme. We'll build the flights, hotels and altitude days around the sailing so nothing is rushed.
